This Ni-Cu 400 based powder is blended with a ceramic shot peening agent to increase the cohesion strength of cold sprayed deposits. Alloy 400 is known to have high corrosion resistance in seawater applications, at elevated and subzero temperatures and in acidic and basic solutions. The intended use for this powder is as a corrosion-resistant coating deposited using nitrogen cold spray. Powder is spherical and has excellent flow characteristics. The powder is vacuum-packaged in 2.5lb mylar bags.
