This tungsten carbide-based powder is engineered with a nickel super alloy constituent which enables effective bonding when cold sprayed using nitrogen carrier gas. Resulting coatings are designed for applications where high wear and impact resistance is required. Deposits can be ground by either silicon carbide or diamond media. WIP-W2 has very high flowability and is inertly vacuum sealed for long shelf life and transport. WIP-W2 can be vacuum packaged in 5-lb aluminum bottle.
